Why Colour Matters
At Adesso, colour has always been part of who we are.
Not because it's fashionable.
Not because it helps us stand out.
But because of how it makes us feel.
Colour has a remarkable way of changing our mood. It can brighten an ordinary day, bring energy to a simple outfit or remind us of a favourite memory. It can make us feel more confident, more optimistic and more like ourselves.
For many years, I didn't fully appreciate that.
Growing up around footwear, colour was simply part of the design process. But over time, and through my own journey of motherhood, personal growth and understanding the connection between how we feel and how we present ourselves to the world, I began to see colour differently.
The things we wear aren't just practical.
They're personal.
The colours we choose can reflect our personality, express our individuality and influence how we feel throughout the day.
That's why colour isn't an afterthought at Adesso.
Every shade is chosen carefully. Every combination is considered. Every collection starts with conversations about how we want women to feel when they put our shoes on.
Joyful.
Comfortable.
Confident.
The women we design for aren't dressing to impress anyone else.
They're dressing for themselves.
They know what they like. They trust their own instincts. They understand that style isn't about following trends it's about expressing who you are.
Colour helps tell that story.
Sometimes it's a bright sandal that makes you smile every time you open your wardrobe.
Sometimes it's a subtle detail that adds personality to a favourite outfit.
Sometimes it's simply the confidence that comes from wearing something that feels like you.
We don't believe colour has to shout.
We believe it should feel authentic.
Because colour isn't really about being noticed.
It's about feeling connected to yourself.
And if a pair of shoes can bring a little more joy, confidence and self-expression into someone's day, then we've done our job.
Beautiful shoes. Made properly.
For women who dress for themselves.
